The sorts of things we get up to

On Sunday 24th May we will be celebrating Pentecost. We remember when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the Apostles and the Church was 'born'.

At St Michaels we will be celebrating with songs, streamers and cake as we gather together for an exciting all age Communion service.

Come along and help us celebrate at 10am on Sunday 24th May.

The Messy Church Team are busy gathering materials this week, ready for our Paddington Bear special!

Lots of work goes into the preparation for Messy Church – huge amounts of cutting out, glueing and sticking is happening, expertly carried out by our volunteer helpers. All these bits of materials will be transformed in our craft session – into Paddington plates and luggage tags - there may even be a marmalade sandwich or two!

During the session we’ll explore how Paddington found a new home and a new family, and look at how we are all part of God's family.

Come along and join us for Paddington adventures and a yummy tea on Friday 22 May 2015 at 3.30 pm.

Please note: All children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult during Messy Church.

This is a free event, however donations towards the crafts and the meal are always very welcome.

Do you enjoy the chance to have a good sing, a cuppa and a chat?

Come and join us for this month's Songs of Praise service. Our inspiration will be taken from the General Election and we'll look at how God never breaks His promises to us.

Our Songs of Praise services are very relaxed as we sit around tables in a 'cafe style'. We welcome all ages, and we sing popular hymns both old and new. There is always time to enjoy cake and a chat after the service.

We would love for you to join us on Thursday 7th May at 10am. Why not pop in on your way to the polling station!
