The Singing and Music Groups
Music at St Michaels is an integral part of our worship. We use a variety of music both traditional and modern hymns and music.
The Singing Group meets each Wednesday from 7pm to 8:30pm. This group is open to all, so if you like singing why not drop in and give it a try. Our aim is not so much to produce a polished performance but enjoy time together singing and exploring how we can use music within our worship.
Our Church4All Service on the first Sunday of each month is accompanied by our music group and new musicians of any ability are always welcome. If you are interested call in on a Wednesday night for a chat.
Our ‘Songs of Praise’ service on the first Thursday of every month at 10am provides the opportunity to sing the more traditional hymns and ends with coffee and cake.
We meet on the first Tuesday evening of each month, straight after the 7pm Communion service in Church (at about 7.45pm). New members are always welcome. You don't need to be a member or even a mother to come along to the meetings!
