The flowers in church this week were arranged in loving memory of our dear friend Joan Knox who would have been 80 this month. Joan was a very active member of St Michael's and the local community - she is greatly missed.
We all had an amazing time at All Sorts on 17 June. We explored the theme of Joseph and his coat of many colours and found out what happens when something bad turns into something good. We made camels out of eggboxes, painted multi-coloured pictures and decorated biscuits. We also built a jail, a well and a life-size camel out of cardboard! Parents were treated to a show at the end when the children acted out the story of Joseph using the models and costumes they had made dur
A simple vigil for peace has been organised by Shipley Christians Together. We are inviting people to gather together from all communities to seek peace and affirm the call to be peaceful in the light of recent events. Drop in to Shipley Library and join us in a time of reflection, quiet prayer and affirmation of our common desire for peace. Tuesday 20 June 2017, 6.00 - 7.00 pm, Shipley Library.
All Sorts returns on Saturday 17 June with Joseph and his coat of many colours! By exploring the story of Joseph we will find out what happens when something bad turns into something good. Drop the children off at 2.00 pm for 2 hours of fun, including music making, drama, puppets, crafts and games. At 4.15 pm adult family members join us to see what we’ve been doing, before we all sit down and eat together! We will also be making a very special announcement ... don't miss it!
