A different Mothering Sunday

This Sunday has been very strange not being able to worship together in one place. We have all shared the same words of worship at the same time this morning as a way of still worshipping together. What had been planned was a very special service for Mother's Day led by the children. Thank you to Lily and Bethany who really wanted to share some of what they had prepared to help everyone celebrate today. Take a look at our video.

Vicar Malcolm said: "Last weekend we should have been hearing and seeing what our Sunday Gang had in store for our Mothers' Day service. This special service was planned by the children and was to be led by Laura and Stuart. Unfortunately, this horrible virus stopped the service. I think they still deserve a big thank you for all the work they put in. Thank you to Bethany and Lily for sharing the prayers online in our video.

"I would also like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in sorting the Mothers' Day flowers. We hand delivered over 100 bunches of daffodils.This is church without walls. A special thank you to Lois for her amazing contribution of the flowers."
