
Making a splash: special outdoor Baptism
We held a special Baptism service for Pippa-Rose and her baby brother Dean Josef on 17 September at St Michael's. Pippa is autistic and to make it as comfortable for her as possible we held the service outside in our sensory garden. Together with her brother they were baptised in a paddling pool! Let's Lunch! A community bring & share 15 October
We’ll be having a bring and share lunch after the service on Sunday 15 October. Come and join in - entry only £5 for a lovely lunch full of community, friendship and fun (free entry for children!) We’re asking people to bring something simple only – no need to go overboard. All proceeds raised will go towards maintenance of our church and vital ministry in our community. Harvest Festival: 8 October
Please join us at St Michael’s Church for our annual Harvest Festival Service on Sunday 8 October at 10 am. This year food donations will go to Bingley food bank to help those less fortunate than ourselves. All tinned/dried food donations will be gratefully received but please check the list of foods that are particularly needed.

Place of welcome
Places of Welcome is a growing network of hospitality run by local community groups who want to make sure that everyone in their area has a place to go for a friendly face, a cup of tea and a conversation if and when they need it. A place where people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute. St Michael's Church will be open every Monday 1.30 - 3.30 pm for tea, biscuits and a chat.
