Making a splash: special outdoor Baptism

We held a special Baptism service for Pippa-Rose and her baby brother Dean Josef on 17 September at St Michael's.

Pippa is autistic and to make it as comfortable for her as possible we held the service outside in our sensory garden. Together with her brother they were baptised in a paddling pool!

During the service we thanked God for the gift of life, and parents and Godparents made promises to respond to God's call to follow the example of Jesus. It was a wonderful celebration where we welcomed Pippa and Dean into the church family.
