Thanksgiving Service for Patricia Holliday

It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear friend Patricia Holliday died last week.

Please give thanks for the life of Patricia - for her friendship, her incredible ministry and for all she gave to this parish. We pray for her husband Bill and their family. May God surround them with love and comfort at this time.

Patricia’s funeral is at St Mary’s Church, Hale on Monday 29 October at 2pm, followed by cremation in Widnes.

This will be followed by a service of thanksgiving here at St Michael’s, Cottingley on Tuesday 30 October at 12 noon. As requested by Patricia the thanksgiving will be in the style of songs of praise. All welcome but please let us know if you are attending so we have an idea of numbers.

There will be Bring and Share refreshments for the service – please bring a few sandwiches or buns to share. Thank you.
