Baptism: A family celebration

On 17 June we celebrated the Baptism of Freddie and Nial with their family and friends during our morning service.

In baptism God invites the parents and child to a life long journey with Him, exploring the way of Jesus, growing in faith, and serving others.

Vicar Malcolm said: "This baptism was a very special occasion when we welcomed Freddie and Nial into God’s family. We are all God’s children and Jesus said we should become like little children - full of innocence and unconditional love, they trust their parents to completely take care of them. We should come to Jesus in the same way, fully trusting that he loves and cares for us. As we celebrated with the family we prayed that the grace and blessings the boys receive from God guide them both throughout their

lives."
