Organised by our Caring & Sharing Group we’re taking part in this year's Shoe Box Appeal which ensures that thousands of children around the world get at least one present at Christmas.
Wrap a shoe box with colourful Christmas paper and include one or two special items that a child will fall in love with such as a doll or cuddly toy. You can then fill the box with smaller items such as stationery or toiletries. You can even include a personal note or a photo of your family!
Label the top of the box with boy/girl and age and drop it off at our collection point at St Michael's Church in Cottingley or the Cornerstone Centre on or before Sunday 12 November 2017. If you don't have a shoebox we can provide you with one to fill.
Anyone in Cottingley can take part in this appeal - please drop your box off at Cornerstone Centre if you're unable to take to church. Thank you!
