Place of welcome

Places of Welcome is a growing network of hospitality run by local community groups who want to make sure that everyone in their area has a place to go for a friendly face, a cup of tea and a conversation if and when they need it.

A place where people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute.

St Michael's Church will be open every Monday 1.30 - 3.30 pm for tea, biscuits and a chat.

Also our new Caring & Sharing group for seniors will be held on Thursdays at 10am, except on the first Thursday of the month when we have Songs of Praise. When there is a Said Eucharist, Caring & Sharing will follow after the service.
