Get involved in Cottingley Christmas Market

Cottingley Community Christmas Market takes place on Friday 25 November from 5.00 - 8.00 pm at Cornerstone and on The Parade. The evening includes a visit from Santa, the switching on of the Christmas lights and a fireworks display!

There will be a variety of stalls from across the community and St Michael's is hosting a children's craft table, a Christmas craft pack stall, and the Mothers' Union stall. There will also be a chance to enjoy (and join in with!) our Singing Group singing all your favourite carols. Mince pies and mulled wine will also be served. Don't miss this evening of festive fun on your doorstep ... book the date in your calendar and come along!

Can you help?

The Christmas Market is a great opportunity for St. Michael's folks to be right there in the centre of this community event. We are planning to hold stalls and be part of the festivities.

We need people to help children do Christmas crafts and also to serve on the Christmas craft pack stall. If you can spare half an hour on 25 November please contact us. We also need people of all ages (including children) to join in with the carol singing. Just come along on the night and bring your best voices! To prepare the crafts and the craft kits to sell on the stalls, we're holding a drop in workshop on Thursday 17 November from 1.30 - 4.30 pm at St Michael's Church. If you can spare half an hour please contact us. No previous experience or skill needed, just come along! Tea and cake provided. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
